Grants Support
Optional Support for MDM Open Grants
If you’re considering applying for an MDM Open Grant and would like to discuss your application or check whether your proposed project is eligible, you can either email us at grants@mdmidlands.org.uk or book a short one-to-one conversation with a member of the MDM team.
Grant 1:1s must be requested at least 7 working days before the grant submission deadline.
MDM Bid-Writing Support Surgeries
If you would like more in-depth support with writing your MDM Open Grant application, cultural engagement consultant Jenni Waugh offers a limited number of free, one-to-one bid-writing surgeries during the MDM Open Grants Programme.
During these sessions, Jenni reviews your first draft and provides tailored feedback and coaching to help you write a strong bid that meets the funding criteria and supports your business plan. While success isn’t guaranteed, the aim is to help you develop bid-writing skills that could be scaled up for larger funding opportunities.
Bid-writing surgeries must be requested at least 7 working days before the grant submission deadline. You’ll need to have a first draft of your MDM Open Grant application ready before the meeting.
