How to apply for an MDM Open Grant

Please follow the steps below carefully.

Reminder: applications must be submitted using the online application form to be eligible.

Step 4: Prepare your answers (optional but recommended)

If helpful, you can use the offline Word version of the application form to draft your answers before submitting online.

Step 5: Complete and submit the online application form

Once you are ready, complete the online application form and submit it before the deadline. This is the only way to apply:

Responsive funding for urgent or unforeseen need
In exceptional circumstances, we may award funding outside the usual Open Grant timeframes. This is intended for urgent or time-critical situations, such as supporting organisational resilience or responding to emergencies (e.g. flooding or security incidents).

These awards are made outside the standard grant schedule. You must contact MDM Grants to determine whether responsive funding is appropriate before you apply.
