MDM is pleased to offer grants to fund Workforce Development opportunities. The aim of this grant scheme is to support the sector in the retention, training and ongoing development of the museum workforce.
Development grants are available for individuals or groups working in and with eligible Midlands museums (including museum volunteers and freelancers). Organisations in direct receipt of Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) funding, or Nationally Funded Museums are not eligible to apply.
Grants of up £750 are available for individuals
Grants of up to £2,000 are available for organisations

Download and complete the Workforce Development Grants application form, read the guidance in full before making your application, and submit to MDM Grants before the deadline (this programme has a rolling deadline until Monday 8 December 2025)
