Gaining Accreditation Case Study
This case study follows 78 Derngate on its journey to achieving Museum Accreditation with support from Museum Development Midlands. Through staff interviews and behind‑the‑scenes footage, it explores why accreditation was important, the changes made across governance, collections and audiences, and how MDM support helped. The film reflects on the lasting benefits of accreditation, including improved standards, stronger community impact, and a sense of pride and achievement.
Accreditation Return Case Study
The Waterworks Museum, Hereford accessed Museum Development to help them prepare for their Accreditation Return through attending training, receiving an accessibility audit and attending a 1:1 Accreditation surgery.
