Ambition and Quality Case Study

Heritage and Culture Warwickshire accessed Museum Development support through the Education Action Research cohort and small grants, Kids in Museum Family Friendly Audit and Revealing Hidden Histories programme.

This activity reflects Arts Council England’s Ambition and Quality Investment Principle, demonstrating an ongoing process of improving the quality of work by seeking external perspectives and views, refining delivery, and measuring performance.

Dynamism Case Study

Selly Manor accessed Museum Development support through the Audience Champions and small grants programmes.

This activity reflects the Arts Council England’s Dynamism Investment Principle; developing a responsive business model, using a data informed approach to better understand current and potential audiences and develop new ways of working.

Environmental Responsibility Case Study

Stourbridge Glass Museum accessed Museum Development support through the Energy Audit programme, small grants, Greener Collections Care training and Collections Care in an Energy Crisis training.

This activity reflects Arts Council England’s Environmental Responsibility Investment Principle; embedding environmental thinking across operations, collections and programming through understanding data, planning improvements, advocacy and education.

Following the making of this film Stourbridge Glass Museum was awarded £249,000 from Arts Council England’s government-funded Capital Investment Programme to invest in new solar panels, air source heating, LED light replacements, and innovative glassmaking equipment in a race to pursue net zero.

Inclusivity and Relevance Case Study

Staffordshire Regiment Museum accessed Museum Development support through the Inclusive Museums programme, Open to All Accessibility Audit and accessibility training.

This activity reflects Arts Council England’s Inclusivity and Relevance Investment Principle; developing an Equity Action Plan to improve accessibility for workforce and audiences, and planning work that is relevant to more people
