In 2024, Arts Council England, in partnership with Art Fund, published A Guide to Giving- a practical guide to help individuals and organisations navigate the process of giving and selling art and cultural artifacts to UK museums and galleries.
A Guide to Giving outlines various schemes and opportunities for owners looking to donate or sell their collections while potentially benefiting from tax savings or finding suitable homes for their items
Aysha Afridi, Senior Manager (Museums and Cultural Property) at Arts Council England will share how the Guide can be used to help museums to acquire new objects for their collections and highlight what support is available.
