About this event
In response to current Local Government Reorganisation in areas of England, Arts Council has developed a readiness checklist to support museums in planning and preparing for this change.
This session will discuss LGR, its challenges and opportunities, introduce museums to the readiness checklist and provide opportunity for questions and sharing from participants.
At the end of this session, delegates will have:
· Increased knowledge and understanding of Local Government Reorganisation
· An understanding of how museums can prepare for Local Government Reorganisation

About the trainer

Consultant Emma Chaplin, in collaboration with Heather Lomas, was engaged by ACE to develop the LGR Readiness toolkit.
Who should attend?
Local authority museum managers/ senior staff.
Independent museum senior staff/trustees with an interest in Local Government Reorganisation and how it will affect their museum.
