MDM is offering a small cohort of six museums the opportunity to access specialist expertise and support to embed equity, diversity and inclusion within their organisation’s Strategy and Forward Plan.
The Inclusive Museums programme will increase museum leaders’ knowledge and confidence in relation to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the Midlands museum sector.
Through the programme a small cohort of six museums will be supported to develop and implement Equity Action Plans (EAPs) through cohort training, peer networking and 1:1 mentoring.
The programme will be delivered from February 2025-March 2026.

To apply for the Inclusive Museums Programme, please complete the expression of interest form by 9am, Monday 3 February 2025.
To be eligible for this programme, organisations must be a museum or heritage organisation in the Midlands that is either Accredited or officially Working Towards Accreditation that is not an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) or a Nationally funded museum.
Please note that we will ask all successful applicants to provide us with some feedback following the programme to feed into our evaluation.
