Tender Opportunity: Accreditation Workshop programme

The Museum Development Midlands programme (MDM) invites your quotation to design, develop and deliver the Accreditation Workshop Programme, consisting of four training and/ or awareness workshops, to support Midlands museums to understand, achieve and maintain the UK Museum Accreditation Scheme (hereby referred to as Accreditation).

MDM is seeking agencies, individual freelancers, or a team of freelancers to design, develop and deliver the Accreditation Workshop Programme of four training and/or awareness workshops in 24/25, with the possibility to extend the contract annually until March 2027.

The four training and/or awareness workshops should:

• support Midlands museums to understand, achieve and maintain the 2018 Accreditation Standard

• provide high quality, accurate advice on the 2018 Accreditation Standard, the assessment processes and administration of the Accreditation Scheme and signpost to any relevant MD or external resources for further support

• be a mix of online and in person

• be accessible and developed in line with MDM’s Accessibility Checklist for Facilitators

• be a mix of events targeted at museums at various stages of the Accreditation process (those Working Towards Accreditation, and those preparing for an Accreditation return) with one being an annual training and/or networking opportunity targeting non-Accredited museums to find out more about the scheme
