The Museum Development Midlands (MDM) team is inviting expressions of interest from museums across the region who would like to present a case study at this year’s Power of Place event.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work, share challenges and successes, and inspire peers across the sector.
Whether your project focuses on community engagement, sustainability, inclusion, innovation, or collections care, we want to hear from you!

Venue: ThinkTank, Birmingham
Format: Short 15-minute case study presentations with time for Q&A
To apply, please send us two short paragraphs outlining what you would like to present. Submissions should be sent to enquiries@mdmidlands.org.uk by 5pm, Friday 1 August 2025.
Please note: Decisions will be made by Friday 5 September 2025.
While we know there are many incredible stories across the Midlands, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all submissions. Case studies will be selected to reflect a balance of geography, museum size, and type to ensure a diverse and representative programme.
